Good Luck Charm

Good Luck Charm is a silent short film set during a playoff hockey game. Margaret, a young woman in a visible funk, reluctantly shares her row with George, a late-arriving stranger in work clothes. Surrounded by Rufus - an over-the-top superfan - and his sidekick The Enforcer, the two strangers are slowly drawn together through the chaos of the game. A Kiss Cam moment sparks an innocent peck, and from there a quiet, playful romance unfolds in the stands - stolen glances, a shared soda, a fake yawn arm-around-the-shoulder - while the game swings wildly around them. When the team finally wins, George and Margaret slip out together, hand in hand, leaving Rufus to celebrate both victories.
