Maximini - Zwischen den Tagen

After six years in a youth home, 14-year-old Rudi is about to return to Berlin to live with his mother Ruth. A trial weekend is meant to show whether a fresh start is possible and whether Rudi’s wish for a normal life can finally come true. But as they try to reconnect, both are confronted by the wounds of the past. As mother and son struggle to find their place in each other’s lives again, one question becomes more urgent: Can they make it work?
